FUSION is focused on the implementation of a USEF-based common flexibility market framework in the UK. The project includes a live trial which will take place in East Fife, Scotland. The project will promote the potential use of flexibility to enhance efficient DSO network management, demonstrate proof of concept and evidence the business case for commoditised flexibility.
Status: A preliminary assessment of flexibility available in East Fife has been undertaken. This will be further developed and quantified in relation to four key network challenges to assist the development of flexibility product definitions and USEF’s fit to the national market.
